RUSH – ‘FIFTY SOMETHING’
For the first time in Denmark!
Rush announce tour dates for 2027 in South America, the UK & Europe and will visit Denmark for the very first time when they perform at Royal Arena next April.
Geddy Lee & Alex Lifeson celebrate more than 50 years of Rush’s music and legacy, honouring their late bandmate Neil Peart.
In 2025, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame® members and GRAMMY®-nominated icons, as well as RUSH co-founders Geddy Lee [bass, keyboards, vocals] and Alex Lifeson [guitar, vocals], announced their return to the stage with the special Fifty Something Tour across Canada, the United States and Mexico in 2026 — celebrating RUSH’s music, legacy, and the memory of late drummer and lyricist Neil Peart.
The response was overwhelming: the first 22 concerts sold out immediately, leading to additional shows. The tour now includes 58 concerts across 24 cities, with more than half a million tickets sold in 2026.
Today, the band is excited to announce that the tour will expand to South America, the UK and Europe in early 2027. This will mark the band’s first European performances since 2013 and their first visit to South America in 17 years.
The 24 concerts across 13 countries will be special “an evening with” shows, where the band will perform two sets each night. Every concert will feature a unique selection of songs, with RUSH drawing from a catalogue of more than 40 tracks — including their greatest hits and fan favourites.
For the Fifty Something tour, Lee and Lifeson will be joined by German drummer, composer and producer Anika Nilles, who has performed as Jeff Beck’s drummer on more than 60 concerts and has released four solo albums. The band will also be joined by keyboard player Loren Gold (The Who, Roger Daltrey).
Geddy Lee comments on the tour:
“We can’t wait to return to all the cities we haven’t played in for so long — and visit some new places we’ve never been before. Alex and I really enjoy the many hours of rehearsals with Anika and now Loren, and we are rehearsing around 40 songs so we can keep the concerts dynamic and vary the setlists from night to night. We are thrilled that so many members of our trusted crew have returned to help us create the kind of RUSH show fans expect from us. We sincerely hope you will join us in celebrating 50 years of Rush music while also giving Neil the long-overdue tribute he truly deserves.”
Neil Peart’s widow, Carrie Nuttall-Peart, and daughter, Olivia Peart, say:
“We are excited to support the Fifty Something Tour, celebrating a band whose music has inspired generations of fans and honouring Neil’s unique legacy as both drummer and lyricist. Neil’s musical talent was truly one of a kind — compositions combining complexity and power that expanded the possibilities of rhythm itself. As both drummer and lyricist, he was irreplaceable. His artistic expression was extraordinary, and the depth and imagination he brought to the lyrics touched and inspired so many. He helped shape how fans connected with him and the band, giving voice and meaning to their own lives. As the band enters this new chapter, it will undoubtedly be unforgettable. We look forward to seeing their new vision unfold — and hearing this legendary music live once again.”
RUSH invites fans to get even closer to the tour experience with enhanced premium opportunities. VIP packages may include Meet & Greet access, autograph sessions, backstage tours, access to the Xanadu VIP lounge before the concert, exclusive merchandise gifts, and more.
